the appointment of three senior executives to its international
sales force as it strives to meet growing demand for high performance
optical switch technology.
Stuart Santoro, previously Vice President of Sales at Opvista,
joins Polatis as Director of Telco Sales, North America, driving
sales of the company’s compact latching switch and other
fibre switching products. Sean Gordon, formerly with Foxcom Ltd,
joins Polatis as Director of Sales, Video/Broadcast worldwide,
and Philip Benguhe, formerly of DiCon Fiberoptics, joins as Director
of Sales, Defense and Federal sector.

Mr. Santoro has over 20 years’ experience with many distinguished
sales positions and has played a key role in building worldwide
sales networks for major players in the telecommunications
space, including Opvista, Ubiquitair Incorporated, Ceterus Networks,
and
ECI Telecom.
Mr. Gordon boasts 14 years’ experience as VP Marketing and
Business development at Foxcom Ltd, including the supply of
fibre optic equipment to the video broadcast, satellite communications,
and RF over Fibre markets.
Mr Benguhe was previously Director of Sales – Specialty
Products at DiCon Fibreoptics and National Account Sales Manager
at JDSU.
He has worked with numerous key Defense contractors and US
Defence agencies.
