Antenova, the integrated antenna solutions company, has announced the appointment of Mike Edwards as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing and the promotion of CL Lim to vice president and general manager of Asia.

“Mike has extensive international sales and marketing experience at senior positions in the semiconductor and component industry,” said Greg McCray, CEO of Antenova. “His experience in managing direct and indirect sales will be instrumental in building out Antenova’s global sales force and growing network of leading distributors and agents. Mike’s impressive track record of selling to large OEM’s will be of huge benefit in securing more design wins and closing further contracts.”

McCray said of CL Lim: “CL has extensive sales, management and operations experience and possesses the drive and energy required to make things happen in Asia. As Antenova’s director of sales Asia and acting general manager of Asia for the past several months, CL has already demonstrated these valuable skills by not only contributing to the sales process but also successfully managing a multi-contract manufacturer scenario and taking products into volume production. CL and his team have also made great progress in building out our design and support center in Taipei, Taiwan, and plans are already in place for design and support locations in China, Korea and Japan next year.”

McCray added, “Mike and CL are valuable additions to Antenova and further underpin our goal to become the market leader in antennas for mobile handsets, portable devices and laptop computers. I am very pleased to welcome them both to Antenova’s management team.”

Edwards is an international sales and marketing professional with over 25 years experience of direct & indirect sales, marketing and senior management in the semiconductor and components industry. He has extensive applications-oriented product marketing experience in wireless device, telecoms, computer and telematics market sectors, from start-up firms to large multi-national corporations. His previous roles include director of sales and marketing at blue chip company Toshiba, Silicon7, Abacus and TVIA. Edwards holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Electronics from UWIST, Cardiff, an MBA and is a member of the IET.

Lim has more than 26 years experience in international sales, business development and technical operations and management in the wireless and telecommunication industry which includes senior roles at Motorola and Sanmina. Lim holds a BS in EE from the National University of Singapore, a Post Graduate Diploma in sales and marketing from the Singapore Institute of Sales and Marketing and attended Executive Business Programs.
